I just came back from Cranberries Concert held @ Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Her voice is just so AWESOME!!!!! I am so gonna get their new album!

Achy Achy.....

I was having In-Service Training yesterday. Morning session was just talk... while the afternoon session we had a BodyBalance try-out @ Fittness First Tampines (CPF Building). The BodyBalance was fabulous. It comprises of Tai-Chi, Pilates & Yoga. It really stretch every single muscle in your body.

After that, we are off to the next event.... SPS Cross Country @ East Coast Park. Was being arrowed to join the run. 4km though not too long nor too short.... but it's a killer when you just finished a BodyBalance program and you have not being exercising for a long time. And to top it off... it started to rain halfway through. I finished the run being a wet chicken!!! =.=!!!

Oh Well, hopefully I dun get sick..... which I didn't and Still have to go to work with aching muscles today! lol

Hong Kong 2012.....

Just came back from Hong Kong...... was there from 4 feb to 7 feb. Was supposed to join the Hong Kong Standard Chartered Marathon 10km... However, it was too late to register by the time i renewed my passport. It's okay. I went there to support my dear friends who join in both the 10km and 21km. Kudos to them!!!

Hong Kong at this period of time is relatively quite cold. Temperature ranges from 16C to 22C. Just be mindful of the wind though. A windbreaker jacket plus long sleeves is enough to keep you warm. You might want to get a cap too if hair is too long. It tends to get messy to the wind blowing =)

The Peak as usual is a nice scenery at night. This time round was not that cold. The last time I went 3 years ago, I nearly froze my toes off as I was not prepared for the trip up. It was an impromptu decision and I was wearing slippers! lol

We went shopping at Citygates and Lai Chi Kok. There is a big hole in my pocket right now... boohoo... =( but i had fun shopping hahahaha..... *Women* *Shake Head*

I think this will be a yearly that we will be doing. Next year I will go for my 10km. HKSCM.... Wait for me... I am coming!!!! ^__^

A break

It's has been a while since I last blog.

Life has been pretty good i guess. Went to Taiwan for 7 days with Maggie. It was a break needed after such a long time. Before that was Phuket in May.

Taipei was fun and relaxing. Thank goodness for Google =)

Eat and Eat and Eat was the itinerary for the week. And not to forget shopping too. First day, I hopped on the plane from Changi Airport to KL via AirAsia. Over there I met Maggie and we continued on to take the plane to Taipei. Reached at about midnight. We took a cab to the our hotel ECFA hotel @ Ximending. Pretty nice budget hotel. Right smack in the middle of everything. People in Taiwan are friendlier than Hong Kong. We met Janis at Kaohshiung on Monday for dinner.... Met one of Maggie's friend's brother at Shilin Night Market. The rest of the days, we went to different parts of Taipei and visited lots of night markets. Keelung, Wufenpu, Jiufen, Taipei 101, National Taiwan Museum, Yeliou, Pi Xiu Guan, Some tea place.... where Maggie went nuts in buying tea hahaha.......

Weather there was good.... lots of wind and not too hot. But some places have typhoon. One of them was the Peak which we planned on visiting, but cancelled due to strong winds. It was near Wen Hua University where the guy was studying.

I will definitely go back there again!

New Place

I have officially moved!!!!! Now I am staying in the staff quarters. So near my workplace...... can save transportation $$$$ a.k.a. Cab *hehehe*

Haiz but there is nothing here..... so i need to slowly add things to the place.... anyone want to donate furnitures n electrical appliances to me??? lol

Going to be lonely i guess as the rest of housemates does not stay here permanently... Only me... =( Oh well, i shall just make do with what I have and not to complain!

Moving....

Oh Boy......I am gonna move house again.... Have been living at this rented place for nearly 2 years. But this time I am gonna move to the staff quarters... Let's see how long will I stay.... Hope I do not have to move again. I dun really like to move house cos I gotta do all the packing and unpacking! But it's a time to do spring cleaning cos that's when you start to throw all the stuff away as you dun want to add on to more boxes hehehe =P

Well, funiture shopping here I come cos it's totally bare except for a cupboard. Anyone wanna donate stuff to me please let me know hahahah!!!! till then, Adios!

Not a very lucky day....

Well, yesterday was not a very lucky day for me! Firstly, my toe got cut while doing a pedicure with Michie.... then while on the road, I got kick by an ang-moh lady who wanted to get off n push her bicycle while in the midst of crossing a crowded pedestrain crossing.... followed by in the nite, Michie accidentally "kiap" my arm on a bunch of railings that we resting our hands on while she was taking a smoke break before entering the mrt station... =(

But I had fun at the chalet. Michie organised a pre-xmas chalet with the gang.... from friday to sunday.... Friday nite we did gift exchange. I got a small bottle of wine n a box of pretz hahaa. Daniel got my gift which is headphones. Didn't managed to take a pic of the gifts.... wait till Michie upload the pics onto Facebook bah! The gift's price range was between $10 to $20..... so tt people will not buy extravangant gifts....... Saturday nite was BBQ... they spend the day playing mahjong n texas poker while I was at work. Yes, I was at work poor me... Check out on sunday... was supposed to go for the Standard Chartered Marathon as I signed for 10km marathon... but sleeping at 430am in the morning -_- well, i couldn't wake up and be at the marathon start point at 730am. In fact, we slept thru' the checkout time which was 1030am. The housekeeping came knocking on the door at 11am asking if we were planning to extend. So much for setting alarm at 830 so tt we could snooze till 930 and pack our stuff......... lolx. We pratically jumped out of bed!!!!!!!

All in all... it was a nice weekend... except of the injury part..... hiaz.... till then tata!! =)

New Stuff!

OMG!!!! I have been shopping like crazzzzzyyyyy..... My Acer lappy has crashed..... (anyway the batt is long gone... have been surviving on direct power connection for a year... so I bought a Macbook Pro... yup a MAC... lolx..... but now the sad thing is the movie player that i been relying on all this while to watch my online movies cannot be use on Mac! Aaarrrggghhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!! sob sob =( and i also need to change my USB mobile broadband stick cos apparently it's not compatible to use on Mac.... so no Internet for me for the time being unless i go elsewhere n officially "steal" wi-fi network.... the reason why i am @ Changi Airport at this hour hahaha... but overall i like my Mac =)

I also bought an iPhone 3... nope not 4g cos i dun like the fact that it requires u to cut ur sim card to micro SD size... cos i change phone sometimes due to some reasons.... so 3G... here i am..... This 2 items are a bday prezzie for myself hahaha! Happy Burp-day to me!!! ^__^

Saturday Nite out....

Went to Oosh Restaurant and Bar @ Dempsy Hill last night.... Pretty nice place to chill out however, the service wasn't really that good.... plus it closes at 2am..... just when one is feeling the hype to chill n relax, you go and tell them sorry we are closing soon... *DAMN*

Had an Erdinger plus some snacks and mini burgers to go along.... their fried calamari was cold.... potatoe wedges was nice and so were the chicken wings.... no wonder Hungrygowhere.com's ratings and reviews was only a 5.0...... i agree!!!

时间过得好快啊！一转眼就已经十月了。。。我的生日也快到了。。。
29岁的到来让我想起好多好多事情还想做可是就是时间或金钱不足。。。。嗨。。。。我可要加倍努力啊！！！！！加油！加油！加油！^____^

Finally.....终于

Just completed my 2 nites cycle... today n tomorrow is my off day....

One more cycle to go and I am out of nite shift. Will be going back to day shift (no longer like a vampire that only comes out at nite hehehehe) ^_^


终于做完两晚的工。。。今天和明天休假。
再过多一轮的晚班，我就要回去早班，跟正常人一样。。。不会像吸血鬼一样（只会晚上露面了）!

Hiaz.... Sometimes I wonder if their UL, MC and CMC are really geniune? If it was really geniune, I would not mind covering for you or giving up my OIL..... but if it is not, wun you feel bad??? I see u scrutinizing the deployment and somehow I expected that I will not get to clear OIL for that day.... Lo and Behold, u did wat I predicted! But what can I say when u used ur child as an excuse? I do hope your kid is better now though cos they are the innocent party in ur ruse. THere... I have said it and now I feel so much better!!!!!!!!

It looks like I been neglecting my blog for a looooooong time........ not that I dun wanna write... but too tired I guess.

Till then.... i try n update my blog more often.... but lack of sleep gives me writer block hahaha..... right now is back to bed but damn the weather is freakin' hot to sleep in the afternoon....

Currently in night shift... so i spend the day sleeping.... and working 12hrs at night (and missing all the World Cup matches... DAMN!!!!!). On my precious off days, it's fun time... or just catching up on my dramas online that I have downloaded. Sooner or later, I am gonna turn into a Vampire due to lack of sun lolx.......

Criminal Minds...

Hmmm.... recently I spend my time watching Criminal Minds online... so hooked onto it... Have been following from Season to season 4 now..... (Yah i know it's been a long time since CM have been shown....but I wasn't at home much to catch it on TV)... so hurray to online... lolx

Just another day...

Went window shopping with Har Har yesterday as she wanted to get an engagement pressie for her gal fren.

1st stop was Ion Orchard... nothing much.... only boutique shops... After that, met Michie and her BB Isabella (She's So CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!) at paragon. Michie was contemplating to buy a bag (GUCCI or BURBERRYS?)... and she is still thinking hahaha *tt shopping queen*.

Then we met Michie's mum & grandmother for dinner. Flying Chilli (Thai food) at 313@Somerset was not bad. Then Michie got her Iphone 3G.... which is the whole aim of her being at 313 in the first place. At least one goal met! Har Har still thinking of wat to get for her fren....

An excuse to go shopping again on another day hehehe.... Till Then tata!

Hmmm....a funny situation I encounter at work.... when the rule is one is not supposed to share or eat from another person's foodbox and u caught her red-handed, what would that person said.... I got a classic answer: "I did not eat.... I just taste the rice only...." *pengz*

East District Youth Day 2009 (EDYD 2009)

Singapore's East District Youth Day 2009 was held yesterday, 6 Sept 2009 at the 5 churches for the AM Session of the programme. I was helping as a facilitator at Church of the Holy Trinity. I think it went pretty well. As usual, kids or should I say teenagers are harder to manage now than during my time. Haha I don't recall we being so hard to manage... lolx

Anyway, the theme of the Youth Rally was "Spera In Deo" meaning "Hope in God". Basically to help them or let them be more aware of God's message in their daily lives and making them to be more spritually consicious.

PM session was held at CHIJ Katong Primary School's new hall. Very nice and new.. lolx. Emcee was Randall Tan. The P & W team was good.... After that there was Mass celebrated by Archbishop Most Reverend Monsignor Nicholas Chia.

All this brought back memories of the previous youth rallies I have been during my time. It has been a really long time I guess. The last I went I think was about 5 years ago..... It was really enriching and fun of cos! ^_^ Now I hope I get to go for World Youth Day 2011 in Madrid!

Sick....

Darn.... I hate it when ur nose is blocked and ur throat hurts when it coughs.... However, you are not that sick till you can't get out of bed. So I still have to go to work.... and *cough* *cough* *sniff* *sniff* all morning..... Must be the BBQ that I went last saturday..... Pics have uploaded on facebook ^_^
